As part of Maserati’s sponsorship of the Royal Academy’s “Age of Giorgione” exhibition, the brand set up a series of immersive experiences – “Maserati Esperienza” – combining the opportunity for a select group to enjoy a private view of the exhibition whilst experiencing other elements relating to Italy’s cultural heritage.

Velvet Entertainment worked with the brand and venue and was tasked with providing entertainment with a strong Italian theme, plus sound production and creating dramatic lighting effects via uplighting both inside and out at one of the events. At the first evening, which combined a cocktail event with a private view and cultural talk on Renaissance art, Velvet Entertainment’s Chez played a set of standards as traditionally performed in Italian Jazz clubs, whilst at the Operatic Supper Club event which followed, powerful soprano Natalie sang classic arias from Italian opera whilst guests enjoyed the exhibition and a stand-up reception with delicious Italian canapés.
