This summer there were some incredible weddings that we were lucky enough to be a part of, but this one was particularly special, as we organised not only the styling, decoration, sound and lighting, but the furniture hire with help from our sister company Velvet Living, entertainment and catering from the wonderful Caiger & Co.

The bride and groom were after a rustic, festival style wedding – bringing the glorious outdoors to the heart of London. They chose a wonderful venue – the Amadeus Centre, which was the perfect base to style.

Taking inspiration from barn and boho style weddings, in the main room we hung rows of zig-zagged festoon lighting and colourful paper lanterns in keeping with the couple’s colour scheme to create a beautiful canopy above the dancefloor area. A customised crate installation was created for gifts and cards, and we created a unique crepe paper backdrop for The SUPERTONES party band, who kept the dancefloor full all night.

A secondary room downstairs was used for the drinks reception. Using a pastel colour palette, we made bespoke cushions covers and bunting to decorate the area, creating cosy seating areas which were complimented by soft candlelight.

In keeping with the theme, we had our Zinc top rustic wooden food stations and bars, alongside our Rustic rectangular poseurs, Tolix stools, Red curved bistro seating and pallet tables.

Caiger & Co served from festival style food stations, including a taco station, a fish n chips stall and an Asian food station which served the most delicious crab cakes with a sweetcorn and mango salsa. Personalised cocktails especially designed for the happy couple were an added touch, and were a real hit with guests.

‘It was such a slick operation, the organisation and attention to detail was amazing. Everyone was really blown away with the decor and styling of the venue’. The Bride.
