The 2008 Conservative Party's annual fundraising event held in Battersea Park asked Velvet Entertainment to provide the entertainment for this high profile event. Amongst Velvet's large repertoire of bands and artists the event organisers decided that 'SOLACE' would be the ideal choice.
'SOLACE', made up of Lizzie on the Violin, Sean Quinn on percussions, Heather Hoyle on the Saxophone and Graham Hughes on the Trombone were accompanied by DJ Maurits who kept these A list celebrities dancing til the early hours.
In a stunning garden re-created under marquee by designer Anya Hindmarch 'SOLACE' mingled amongst the guests as they raised over £600,000 for the blue party. An all round outstanding success!
