Maxx’s Jazz Collective is a trio of saxophone, piano and double bass.
For nearly ten years they have played at venues across London and the globe such as Claridge’s, The Dorchester and The Hilton Hotel New York.
The collective play jazz from the 1920s to the 1960s. With a wealth of experience, they make any event memorable.
All band members are graduates of the prestigious Trinity College of Music and now work across the globe as part of the collective and on other projects, working with artists such as Jamie Cullum, Basement Jaxx, Alexandra Burke, Mark Lockheart and Simon Purcell.
The Gin Club Blues Band are reviving the best rhythm ‘n’ blues, jump-blues, and jazz of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. The band is a collection of some the best musicians in London. Their stomping’rhythms, infectious horns and soulful vocals will make you want to dance the night away with their authentic versions of the real, original ‘rnb’ dance music.
They play a variety of tunes that audiences know and love as well as some lesser known surprises, even though as soon as you hear them you’ll wonder why they aren’t already staples of your own collection! If you are a fan of the music of Ray Charles, Fats Domino, or Nina Simone – you’re in for a real treat.
They are available as a 6 piece band or smaller lineups.

All of the band’s members have many years experience at a national and international level and the versatile line-up of saxophone, double bass, piano and drums provide the perfect backing to Emily’s smooth vocals. Sultry and sophisticated, Phoebe’s Live Lounge have an authentic setlist which features their own ‘jazzy’ spin on a wide variety of pop, soul, rock and funk classics. The band can also perform any of your favourite jazz standards, and are happy to mix and match from either setlist, in order to create the perfect soundtrack to your event. Using only one small amp, the trio are able to fit into even the smallest of spaces, taking only 20 minutes to set up.
All professional musicians, the trio compliment each others’ performance styles in a way which only comes from a wealth of experience and talent. Their female vocalist, Phoebe is currently writing her debut album, and is in high demand performing for exclusive clients worldwide, in countries including Uganda, India and Singapore. With honey-like tones, her voice is one to listen out for!
The guitarist is an established session musician who has worked with a wealth of top artists including Jessie J, Taio Cruz and The Saturdays. He has toured Europe extensively as lead guitarist with Sting’s daughter, the critically acclaimed ‘I Blame Coco’.
Phoebe’s Live Lounge are also available as a larger band, with the addition of a double bass player, percussionist or saxophonist.
Heather was first bitten by the performance buzz at the Globe Theatre, which compelled her to study music at Trinity College. Her musical prowess, effervescent personality, and charismatic presence has made her a sought after artist. She’s played with many big hitters on the jazz circuit including Roy Ayres, Marcus Printup, Michael Franti and Neneh Cherry.
Heather is clocking up air miles with invitations to play private parties for the likes of Michael Caine, Prince William, Richard Branson, Madonna, Al Pacino and Jodie Kidd.
For lively club crowds, she teams up with international DJs, including Norman Jay, Jeremy Healey or Kelly Marie lacing jazzy riffs with uplifting dance music. HedKandi, Café Del Mar and Soho House do’s in Cannes are regular haunts.

The Hot Club was formed to provide the music for the 2013 Renault Clio online ad campaign, which was promptly judged too lewd for public consumption and withdrawn. The band, however, lives on playing their unique mix of gypsy swing, hot jazz and songs of middle-class angst and caddish behaviour.
Violinist Kit has performed all over the globe, playing with the Santiago Philamonia, Chile and studying Karnatic violin traditions in Mysore, India.
Christian Miller is a much sort-after exponent of French and American guitar styles often headhunted by visiting international bandleaders.
The rhythm section of Rory Dempsey (double bass) and Matt French (drums) are veterans of many West end shows but are occasionally allowed to emerge from the sub-terrain darkness of the orchestral pit to lend their infectious swing and uncanny musical telepathy to the Hot Club’s sound.
Twing Swing are a duo of dancers specialising in vintage dance.
Variations include Roaring 20s Charleston dancing, perfect for Great Gatsby themed events; 1930’s Hollywood Golden Age themed tap dancing and 1940s Wartime dancing – previous performances have been in The Churchill War Rooms themselves!
They are available as a duo or can increase the troupe to 10 dancers if required.
Meet and Greet and teaching dances are a speciality – and it really transports your guests back in time!
They are the resident dancers at the Waldorf Hilton and have danced in many other venues in London to include The Shangri La at The Shard, the Intercontinental Park Lane, Gigi’s Mayfair, The Churchill War Rooms, RIBA Venues, The Goring Hotel Belgravia and The Mayfair Hotel.
Blue Strings are a classical and contemporary group ranging in line up size from the Blue String trio to the Blue String Orchestra.
They have performed and recorded with renowned artists such as Adele, Emelie Sande, Beyonce, Nigel Kennedy, Take That, Birdy, Paloma Faith, Rod Stewart, Pavarotti, The Script, Ne Yo, Lana del Rey and Simply Red. Blue Strings have played at venues such as Harrods, the V&A, The Dorchester, Claridge’s and Wembley Stadium.
Our feature String Trio and String Quintet are formed of 2 or 4 violins and the double bass – a unique take on a classical string group. The bass incorporates a slap bass technique that injects energy in to any performance – resulting in a unique and memorable style.
Elegant, sophisticated and versatile, the trio and quintet are able to perform on acoustic or electric instruments. They perform music from an extensive and diverse repertoire from Bach to Beyonce, fusing classical training with pop and jazz styles. All the music is arranged especially for the group and special requests are welcomed, no matter how unusual!
The Trio and Quintet have a range of beautiful dresses that they can wear according to client preference to match the mood and style of the event. They can also provide amplification and their own sound engineer.
The Night Collective are a core duo of vocals/drums and guitar/backing vocals playing vintage 1920s and 30s jazz and swing. They can increase to a trio with the addition of a saxophonist/clarinettist, a quartet or 5 piece swinging band.
Their carefully selected repertoire consists of vintage hits and all things gypsy jazz and dixieland – so dust off your glad rags and get working on those charleston dance moves!

Simone is a versatile singer whose repertoire ranges from jazz to pop covers, and everything in between. She can also play with a combination of guitar, pianist or percussionist to form a great duo or trio.
Paul is a great versatile guitarist who plays across a wide range of projects from solo guitar, jazz and Latin duos, trios and bands. He has a number of jazz residencies in his hometown of Brighton and has a passion for classical Latin and the Spanish guitar.
Paul can also play as a jazz duo or trio with a great vocalist and double bassist at private and corporate events. With his wide repertoire and great skill, he is guaranteed to add a unique and relaxed vibe to any event.
Libby has been lucky enough to meet and work with some extremely talented musicians, performing for Her Majesty The Queen and at concert venues such as the O2 Arena, Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the Royal Albert Hall. Corporate events have seen her at Somerset House, the Royal Academy of Art and The Gherkin, while her work on the club circuit with Hed Kandi has taken her to the hottest clubs and festivals around Europe.
Whilst much of her time is spent performing and recording with pop, funk, soul and jazz outfits, as well as dedicating time to classical music, in recent years Libby has also enjoyed the increasingly popular genre of working alongside DJs, playing anything from the latest house tracks to chilled out background music.
Whatever the style, Libby is a skilled performer who never fails to engage with her audience.
Jacob is one of London’s most recognisable and in-demand saxophonists. He has experience working live and in recording sessions for varied bands and artists, as well as working on independent films radio and TV and for live gigs across the world.
Credits include work for BBC Radio & TV, ITV, Channel 4, E4’s ‘Made in Chelsea’ appearances for fashion houses including Aspinal of London and Bally of Switzerland and for venues such as the Royal Academy of Arts and so on.
Jacob can jam alongside a DJ at a club night, or play jazz numbers at a product launch and is truly versatile and highly talented.
Helen is one of London’s most sought after pianists. Her talents have led her to play at venues including Kensington Palace, Saint James’s Palace, The Royal Festival Hall, Tate Modern, Madame Tussaud’s and the Natural History Museum.
Helen also performed on the 100th Royal Variety Performance with Robbie Williams at the Royal Albert Hall for The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
She is a favourite with fashion houses, playing at London Fashion week for Aspinal of London on a regular basis and is a great addition to any event where a versatile, reliable and talented pianist is required.
Chez’s passion is for jazz, funk and soul. Combining the sax with flute and clarinet has led her to playing on the main stages of Wembley Stadium (London), The NIA (Birmingham), Newton’s Nation (Australia), Alliance Francaise (Zambia) and in many more international locations.
She is one of our most popular and versatile saxophonists, playing for everyone from Aspinal of London to the Royal Academy of Arts. Ever versatile, she can jam along to a DJ playing house music or play vintage jazz classics at a formal event.

From Marrakech to the Ministry of Sound, Amsterdam to the Algarve, Maurits’ prolific DJing career has filled the floor at many prestigious venues, playing a mix of clubs, private and corporate events internationally.
With a reputation forged from his vast musical knowledge and a perceptive judgment of every audience, Maurits became an established and influential events organiser in Paris in the early 1990’s. His extensive appearances at high profile events and his collaborations with many well-known, international DJs from the dance scene further fuelled demand for his talents.
Moving to London in the mid 1990s, Maurits’ clientele included China White, the Elyseum, Heaven and Ministry of Sound. As well as managing and DJing at events in Amsterdam, Chamonix, Florence, St Moritz, Klosters, Mallorca and Marrakech, Maurits’ versatility has made him a regular feature on the creative circuit at Cannes, the Edinburgh Festival, Cowes Week, and the Secret Garden Party.
Markus is one of our most popular DJs and his Ibiza residencies and countless great performances at private and corporate events mean that we can recommend him for any situation.
Markus began his career touring Europe and America as a signed songwriter for EMI records. During this six year period he began DJing at events and parties, where his natural talent for gauging an audience really began to shine through, gaining him a residency in Ibiza where he spent a year further honing his skills.

Lindy Layton’s career started as a founding member (along with Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim) of Beats International, who went on to have a number 1 hit with ‘Dub Be Good To Me’.
Her DJ career started alongside her live performances and her repertoire is vast. Working in the music industry for the entirety of her working life, she has hosted radio shows and worked as a resident DJ, meaning that she has built up a vast and eclectic record collection over the years.
Happy to delve deep into her collection to create a unique and niche sound for your event or to stick to the classics, Lindy is incredibly versatile and truly passionate about what she does.
With credits including the Royal Academy of Arts, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the V&A Museum, the Inner Temple and numerous private parties around London, she is a great all-round, popular DJ.
Greg manages to fill dance floors with party people even when there’s a whole spectrum of ages and musical tastes to cater for. With a DJ career spanning over twenty years and covering Europe’s top clubs, bars and the celebrity party circuit, Greg has the experience and the tunes to satisfy any crowd.

Dom Makin is a professional DJ firmly established on the club, bar and private party circuit. Bookings see him perform in London and across the UK plus internationally in the US, Ibiza, France, Morocco and Italy.
Dom has built a reputation for his versatility as a DJ who is able to play a wide selection of musical genres. This combined with a polite and professional manner has made him sought after for corporate events.

The Dixie Ticklers have changed the face of vintage jazz like no other band and their transformation of New Orleans music has gained them a fierce international reputation.
The six piece ensemble combine their passion for early jazz styles whilst each expressing their own musical voice. In recent years, they have toured Europe and further afield including a fifteen date tour of Australia. Daoud Merchant AKA Washboard Merch (John Law, Empirical) and Zands (Karl Jenkins) head the rhythm section whilst Will Rixon (Joss Stone) provides a modern interpretation of the work of great early trumpet players. Bass is provided by Tommy Antonio with guitar from rising star Nicholas Costley-White.
