Based between London and the Balearics, Maurits’ prolific DJing career has filled the floor at many prestigious venues, playing at a mix of clubs, private and corporate events;

From the desert and souks of Marrakech, to the London club scene in the 90’s, from the Soho house Villa at the Cannes Film Festivals to warming-up for 50 Cent & Jamiroquai on a film-set beach in Jamaica, from the MG racing pit-lane at the 24hrs of Le Mans to the Lake pagoda at The Secret Garden Party festival, his seasoned presence in the scene has made him a sought after private events DJ. He can perform an evening party set as well as a background/lounge music set for a reception or dinner.

With a reputation forged from his vast musical knowledge and a perceptive judgment of every audience, Maurits became an established and influential events organiser in Paris in the early 1990’s. His appearances at high profile events and his collaborations with many well-known, international DJs from the dance scene further fuelled demand for his talents.

Moving on to London in the mid 1990s, Maurits’ club clientele has since included; Soho House (resident DJ from 2003 till 2010), China White, the Elysium, Hanover Grand, Heaven, Kitchen Club and the Ministry of Sound, as well as managing and DJing abroad at exclusive venues, events and private parties in; Amsterdam, Algarve, Arosa, Buenos Aires, Cannes, Chamonix, Cognac, Copenhagen, Florence, Gstaad, Ibiza, Istanbul, Jamaica, Klosters, Krakow, Mallorca, Marrakech, Milano, Nice, Paris, Saigon, Sienna, St Moritz, St.Tropez and Verbier.

Maurits’ versatility and passion for music, combined with his immensely flexible & friendly approach has made him a regular feature on the scene and top choice for parties, weddings, corporate events & product launches. He is a genuine all-rounder, equally at home playing Pop, Motown, Funk and Disco, as well as Lounge, House and Techno, with a limitless playlist.
