CHRISTMAS PARTY AT THE ROUNDHOUSE

Dentsu Aegis Network approched us to do a "La Folly Douche" themed Christmas party at The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm. Needless to say, much fun was had by all...

With a life-size ski chalet installed on the day where acts would perform from as well as large-scale LED video panels to project videos of mountain tops and ski resorts, we were able to immerse the guests in a party spectacular.  With special effects including, lasers, Confetti cannons, C02 cannons and flame effects, this job was a masterclass in crossing your T's and dotting your I's when it came to Health and Safety.

Here we have the Ski Chalet up close where the DJs and dancers performed. You can also make out the mountain tops and snowflakes on the LED video wall behind. We lit the windows from behind and used frosted gel to create cool light effects from within.

We had 4 full-colour lasers rigged from the ski chalet creating amazing patterns and effects throughout the night. It gave the effect of a lower ceiling giving the illusion of a more intimate event.

The biggest constriction we had on this event was that everything had to be installed in 1 day and due to the stage size, the build had to go in with millimetre accuracy to allow the set team and the video wall technicians to install in tandem alongside each other. Although the process had to be slow and steady to get everything right, everything went in on time, ready for the show to begin.
